As a sole trader do I need workers compensation insurance?

As contractors you may be asked to provide a copy of your public liability insurance policy and also prove you have workers compensation, however in most states if you are a sole trader, proprietor or a member of a partnership, you are not a worker of your own business. Therefore, you cannot register for WorkCover, Workers Compensation insurance for yourself.

Consider other options
